Maritz Buys Brand Perception Analyst evolve24

Maritz Research has bought St. Louis, USA-based evolve24, which combines analysis of traditional media and social media to provide clients with quantitative metrics on the perception of brands, products and services. Terms were not disclosed.

Maritz says the move will give it new and unique opportunities in the area of customer satisfaction research and information.

According to Stephan Thun, Vice President and MD for Europe at Maritz Research, the Internet has given consumers the ability to express themselves regarding their experiences of servces and products; and Evolve24's leading edge predictions of consumer behavior and analysis of risk and potential will help Martiz offer its clients a better understanding of their customers.

Anthony Sardella, founder and CEO of evolve24 said his firm was proud to belong to a company with a reputation as a leader in MR and a market leader in customer satisfaction research in particular.

Evolve bills itself as 'the only provider of a complete integrated solution based on scientifically peer-reviewed methodology that analyzes existing issues, predicts changes in those issues and identifies the emergence of new issues early in their life cycle.'
