MedPanel Launches Innovation Services

October 21 2010

US online healthcare market research firm MedPanel has rolled out a 'pick and mix' suite of tools, to provide inventors and early-stage companies with market assessments of medical device, diagnostic and biotechnology innovations.

John BojanowskiMedPanel (which was until recently known as Panel Intelligence) provides primary market research solutions to corporate and financial clients in the healthcare industry.

Its new Innovation Services online tools have been developed to help clients capture more of the value in their innovative ideas. The firm says these tools are completely flexible and customizable to the client's needs, and that any combination of, or all services may be selected.

In addition, clients can opt to work with MedPanel to find a strategic buyer, start a new company or sell the innovation on their own at any stage in the innovation process.

The new division is led by John Bojanowski, whose career has focussed on the medical device industry. Bojanowski joins from Motus Medical, where he worked as President and CEO for the past two years. Prior to this, he was EVP of Sales and Marketing for Scandius BioMedical, and held senior business development roles at medical device giant Covidien, Smith & Nephew and US Surgical.

'MedPanel is leveraging its research platform, the network of relationships we have built, and our connections, to enhance the innovation success rate in the industry,' states Will Febbo, CEO and co-founder.

Febbo added that Bojanowski's knowledge of the MedTech industry will be essential to improving the innovation process for both corporations and inventors.
