Synovate Names Financial Head for China

Financial services specialist Steve Laue has joined Synovate as Managing Director of Banking, Finance & Insurance Research in Greater China - a region comprising China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Laue served most recently as Director, Financial Services for Nielsen in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he held a number of client side roles: he was VP, Asia Pacific at MasterCard; CEO of Cuscal; Head of Strategic Alliances at Commonwealth Bank of Australia; Head of Global Cards at HSBC; and VP Thailand and Korea for American Express. During his career, he also spent five years as MD Asia Pacific at Thorn EMI Electronics.
