AudienceScience Promotes Pullen to CEO Role

In the US, behavioral targeting and data management firm AudienceScience has promoted its former COO Jeff Pullen to the post of Chief Executive Officer, to focus in part on mergers and acquisitions.

Jeff PullenThe company offers both an Audience Gateway technology platform and a targeting marketplace, which record billions of 'behavioral events' daily from more than 386 million unique Internet users.

Last summer, the firm acquired German rival Wunderloop, which collects information about online behaviour to enable clients to target relevant ads, content and shopping offers.

Pullen joined AudienceScience last year as President and COO. Before this, he worked for people search and public records company US Search as CEO, and as COO at online marketing firm ValueClick. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner in the Financial Advisory Services practice at Coopers & Lybrand, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions.

In his new role, Pullen will lead the company with President Jeff Hirsch, who has responsibility for communicating the firm's offering to the global marketplace.
