Web Analytics Demystified Nabs Adobe Exec

US consultancy Web Analytics Demystified has appointed former Adobe exec Brian Hawkins as a Partner, to work directly with clients to deliver site testing, optimization and personalization capabilities.

Brian HawkinsWeb Analytics Demystified was founded in 2007 by former JupiterResearch analyst Eric T. Peterson, and last October piloted a methodology known as GUARDS, which it claimed to be the world's first audit and certification system for consumer data collection platforms.

Hawkins joins from Adobe's Test&Target group, where he served as an Enterprise Solutions Architect. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Consultant at Offermatica, which was later acquired by Omniture, itself acquired by Adobe.

In his new role starting in mid-February, Hawkins will provide auditing of optimization technology, strategic planning, integration support and guidance regarding web analytics.
