Added Value Hires, Eyes African Expansion

Brand development and insight consultancy Added Value has appointed Richard Prévost as a Business Director in its office in Johannesburg, South Africa, and says it has plans to extend its offering 'further into the African continent'.

Richard PrévostPrévost, who also joins the company's South African executive committee, brings over 15 years' experience in strategic brand development. In his new role, he will work with new and existing clients across several sectors, including banking, and will be responsible for growing the business in sub-Saharan Africa. At strategic branding and design consultancy Interbrand Sampson, where he spent the last three years and was most recently Head of Strategy, he worked for big brands across the region, including South African Airways, Coca-Cola, ABSA and Brand Kenya.

Earlier in his career, he worked at ad agency Lowe and as a Director at a niche strategy and design firm Black Brand Strategy & Design.

Keith Stevens, MD of Added Value South Africa, says the firm is 'always looking for scarce talent with diverse experiences to help inspire clients and really mobilise their brands'. He continues: 'Richard's experience spans across Africa and the Middle East and will bring the Added Value team a wealth of strategic and creative knowledge.'
