Quantcast Snaps Up Ad Data Firm MakeGood Software

Internet ratings firm Quantcast has acquired MakeGood Software, which specializes in the reconciliation and reporting of data from digital ad campaigns. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jeff CoonFounded in 2009, Seattle-based MakeGood develops tools which provide a 'single view' of ad campaign data, to help advertisers understand and attribute campaign success.

The buy will help Quantcast bolster its expertise in ad campaign reporting, engineering and user interface development. As part of the deal, the MakeGood team will be relocating to San Francisco, where they will work alongside the Quantcast team.
