Flurry Adds Service for Apps and Mobile Sites

April 5 2013

App measurement and advertising platform Flurry is to make its Flurry Analytics service available for apps and mobile-optimized web sites, in the next few weeks.

Simon KhalafFlurry, which helps clients to measure, advertise and monetize mobile properties and has offices in San Francisco, New York and London, says it now measures app usage on more than one billion connected smart devices each month. Its services cover a full range of operating systems including iOS, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Mobile Web and HTML5.

Flurry Analytics for the Mobile Web is free and offers a common analytics platform covering both native apps and mobile-optimised web sites. The firm says it's easy to integrate into a mobile site and in addition to top-level metrics such as Active Users, Sessions and Retention, offers advanced analytics such as Custom Events, Funnels and User Acquisition.

President and CEO Simon Khalaf comments: 'As 'Mobile-first and Web-second' becomes more than just a slogan, Flurry is opening up its platform to the mobile web.' Head of Product Management Brad Jones says the service means 'a more 360 degree view' for clients.
