Visible Measures and Partners Launch Video Tool

US-based video analytics firm Visible Measures has partnered with Publicis agencies VivaKi and Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) to develop Contagion, a platform for planning and measuring video campaigns.

Seraj BharwaniContagion taps into Visible Measures' proprietary video dataset, which according to the firm has captured more than 10,000 video campaigns, 500 million videos and three trillion video views over the past six years. The tool will help clients plan and adjust video campaigns and project their performance across paid and earned media, as well as owned viewership opportunities.

Visible Measures Chief Analytics Officer Seraj Bharwani (pictured) comments: 'Now with Contagion, Publicis Groupe agencies will benefit from our unique video dataset in one simple dashboard, informing them of the optimal approach for driving earned viewership for clients, and quantifying the overall brand impact of each effort with True Reach, the industry's only MRC-accredited metric for earned media performance.'

The tool will be offered exclusively to Publicis Groupe agencies for the first year, and then made available across the marketplace. It will initially be a US-centric product, but could potentially be rolled out to other markets within the next year.
