Two Senior Hires for Passenger

US-based online community specialist Passenger has hired consumer insights expert Chandra Chaterji as Director of Solutions Development, to lead development of new approaches and methodologies for the company. The firm has also appointed Whitney Miller as Director of Insights.

Founded in 2005, with offices in Los Angeles, Palo Alto and New York City, Passenger develops online customer insight communities. Last year, the firm entered the Japanese market through a partnership with Tokyo-based online survey and panel provider Rakuten Research.

Chaterji (pictured) joins with a background in marketing analytics, brand strategy, consumer insights and strategic planning. During his career, he has served as Analytics Champion at marcoms agency GSD&M; Consumer Insights and Market Research Leader at health insurance firm Health Net; SVP of the IT practice at TNS; and VP, International Corporate Strategy at Visa, where he was the firm's first Director of Marketing Science. He also worked at J.Walter Thompson as VP, Group Director, Consumer Behaviour Group, and he held senior roles at BBDO and AT&T.

Miller joins Passenger's New York office, having previously worked as Communications Consultant at Hall & Partners, Senior Manager of Insights at Viacom, and most recently as a Brand Futurist and Senior Director of Consumer Insights at an agency focused on luxury brands.
