Healthcare Analytics Firm Evantage Acquired

UK-based group Wilmington plc has acquired healthcare and pharma analytics specialist Evantage Consulting for an initial £1.4m, with a deferred cash consideration of up to £4.6m by 2020.

Founded by Julian Snape and Chris Wiggins in 2001, Evantage provides outsourced analytics and resource optimisation solutions for the UK pharmaceutical industry, and solutions for clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. For the year to 31st October 2015 it reported revenues of £1.1m and profit before tax of £0.9m.

Wilmington, whose services cover risk and compliance, finance, legal and insight - has partnered with Evantage for more than five years through its healthcare analytics subsidiary NHiS. Evantage will now be moved into Wilmington's Insight division, with Snape and Wiggins staying on board.
