New Launch For Strategic Partners

Less than three months after the demise of UK agency Strategic Research, its co-founders Steve Wills and Sally Webb have launched a new agency, Customer Insight Solutions (CIS), to continue both their research / consultancy and promotion of their IBEX benchmarking tool.

Strategic's collapse in the autumn ( www.mrweb.com/drno/news3535.htm ), following the loss of one major client on whom it had become over-dependent, surprised many industry observers and it was immediately made clear that the co-founders' initiatives, including IBEX, would be continued under another name.

The new agency will specialise in clientside MR consultancy, including training and advice on best practice in managing and communicating research and insight. It will also be hosting a new Forum aiming 'to bring together leading organisations for whom Customer Insight is seen as a strategic asset, to provide ongoing discussion of key issues, and to sponsor and drive research and development of solutions'. As well as quarterly events including presentations and workshops, the Forum will offer members a library and will conduct its own original research.
