DVJ specializes in brand, communication, innovation and shopper research, and has offices across Europe, including the UK, Germany and Spain, as well as the Nordic nations and headquarters in The Netherlands. Spenderlog, which DVJ acquired from its creator, a Danish fintech start-up, passively captures real-time digital receipt data directly from consumers, and is fully GDPR-compliant. DVJ has integrated it with its broader research solutions, offering a holistic view of consumer behaviour, from intention to actual purchase, and says it offers 'far more detail and accuracy than conventional methods.'
The firm has partnered with panel provider Norstat with the aim of guaranteeing high quality and representative data. The firms have built a scientifically sampled panel of 4-5,000 households per country, with quotas for age, gender, income, household composition, region and retail preferences.
By also partnering with CatMan Solution, a specialist in retailer data harmonization and Power BI visualization, DVJ is giving clients access to the shopper data in a 'clear, structured and decision-oriented way,' directly supporting category and trade marketing decisions. CatMan has just been acquired by end-to-end data management firm Redslim
'Launching in the Nordics with Norstat as our partner has been a game-changer,' says CEO Lucas Hulsebos (pictured). 'Their local expertise and rigorous panel recruitment enabled us to bring an innovative solution to market that is both scalable and representative. For the first time, we can truly connect what people say with what they do. This closes the loop between attitudes and behaviour, giving brands a powerful new tool for growth.'
