In Toronto, Canada, real-time data collection, trend-tracking and prediction tech firm RIWI has appointed Jonathan Cheriff as Vice President of Sales, leading business development for the firm's Sample Direct offering.

RIWI offers tracking surveys, continuous risk monitoring, predictive analytics and ad effectiveness tests, available on a monthly or annual subscription basis. The firm has made a number of acquisitions in recent years, including Paris and Istanbul-based programmatic sampling and panels business Research on Mobile, most of the assets of survey and non-conscious data collection platform CoolTool, and 'programmatic MR platform' TheoremReach. In June last year it added a synthetic data solution. The Sample Direct solution gives researchers access to untapped, fraud-checked audiences across thousands of exclusive, non-panel traffic sources.
Cheriff's experience includes four years at Peanut Labs / Dynata, two at Quest Mindshare and eighteen months at panels and research firm JTN, leading both partner and sales development roles. In his new job he will lead two complementary growth efforts: building strategic partnerships with high-traffic digital properties to monetize their audiences through survey engagement; and expanding direct sales of RIWI's Sample Direct fraud-checked audiences to MR agencies, brands, consultancies, and panel providers.
