Scarborough Expands Newspaper Expertise

November 21 2005

US-based newspaper ratings provider Scarborough Research has hired M J Angiollo as Account Director for Print and Internet Services, and promoted Barbara Quisenberry to the new role of Director of Account Management. Both are past Presidents of the Research Federation of the Newspaper Association of America (NAA).

Angiollo has 25 years of newspaper industry experience. Most recently she worked for nine years as MR Project Manager for the San Antonio Express-News. She has also managed her own businesses, AdPro and Classifieds Plus, where she developed advertising products.

As well as her role as President, she was previously Chair of the NAA Research Federation's Professional Development Committee and its Conference Planning & Workshop Committee. She has also served on the International Newspaper Marketing Association (INMA) North American Market Intelligence Committee and the NAA Readership Metrics Task Force.

At Scarborough, she will be responsible for the client service and account management of Scarborough's newspaper, magazine and dotcom clients throughout the US.

Gary Meo, Senior VP, Print and Internet Services says Angiollo is 'well respected in the industry', and that she 'will be an enormous asset to our current and future clients as Scarborough's print and internet services continue to evolve'.

Quisenberry has been with Scarborough for five years, having previously worked as Research Director at The Dallas Morning News for nine years.

In her new position, she will provide analytic and customer support for Scarborough's Print and Internet team, and will assist Meo in overall management of the team.

The company is online at www.scarborough.com.
