Interpublic Renews TNS Contract

The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG) has renewed its partnership with TNS Media Intelligence (TNS MI). The multi-year agreement gives 14 IPG agencies access to competitive advertising information covering 2.2m brands.

Media planners, media buyers and account management teams throughout IPG will make use of TNS MI's web-based Stradegy platform, which provides details of ad occurrence and expenditure across 19 different media categories, including Hispanic, the Internet and Branded Entertainment.

IPG agencies using the data include Universal McCann, Initiative, Deutsch, ID Media, Mullen, Campbell Mithun, Campbell-Ewald, Tierney Communications, Lowe & Partners, Gotham Inc, The Martin Agency, Carmichael Lynch, Jay Advertising, and Siboney USA.

Susan Nathan, Director of Media Knowledge at Universal McCann, describes TNS MI as the 'gold standard' for competitive advertising intelligence.
