Bloomerce Name To Go

March 30 2006

US-based panels specialist Survey Sampling is rebranding its European subsidiary Bloomerce with the parent company name.

Bloomerce Access Panels will be known as Survey Sampling International or SSI, as of April 3rd. Bloomerce has recently expanded its London and Rotterdam offices and added offices in Madrid, Paris and Frankfurt, growing its European team to over 70 professionals. Bloomerce joined SSI, which works for 43 of the top 50 research firms in the world, in 2005.

Kees de Jong, Bloomerce founder and now SSIs Managing Director, Europe, comments: 'When we joined SSI, it was with one goal in mind: to become one with the leading sample provider in the market and be part of the development of one strong global company, with one standard in quality and service. This starts by having one philosophy and one name. Although the name Bloomerce is special to us, we do not regret losing it as the principles which made us who we are remain alive. The Bloomerce heritage, our research background, our focus on panel concepts and respect for panelists remains well kept within SSI.'

SSI has offices in Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, UK, and the Eastern and Western U.S., and an international staff of more than 180 employees. Its proprietary panels now include nearly 9 million household members. SSI is online at www.surveysampling.com

SSI is one of five providers of b2b panels who will be speaking at the BIG Forum meeting in London on the evening of Tuesday 25th April. For more details email forum@b2bresearch.org or visit www.b2bresearch.org and click on 'Forum meetings' in the side bar.
