In the USA, pharma specialist TVG Marketing Research & Consulting has appointed Don Marshall as Vice President and Chief Methodologist.
Marshall joins from Synovate Healthcare - he worked for Isis Research when it was acquired by Synovate. Earlier he worked in MR management roles for large pharma manufacturers including Abbott, Sandoz, Fujisawa and GSK, in a career spanning 35 years.
At TVG, he will head the company's Advanced Quantitative Analysis team, while focusing on further expanding its menu of new and proprietary research services.
He specialises in quant research, including new product forecasting, product concept evaluation, perceptual mapping of products and attributes, corporate and product image studies, d-t-c studies and longitudinal tracking studies.
The hire is TVG's second in three weeks - in late May it added Scott Lauder, Ph.D., previously of GfK V2, as Vice President, Strategic Marketing & Development (DRNO www.mrweb.com/drno/news5540.htm ).
