Canadian Opening for Maritz

July 25 2006

Maritz Research has opened a new survey center in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, to support its expanding North American business and its Toronto office. The decision should bring over 300 jobs to the area, mostly conducting customer satisfaction interviews.

Located at 2318 Northridge Drive, the new center sits near the town's main thoroughfare at Circle Drive and Idylwild. The center is 12,000 square feet, has 150 stations and will offer interviewer and management positions for local residents when it opens in early September.

Trish Shukers, Division Vice President of Survey Centers, says the firm looked at 54 Canadian cities and found Saskatoon 'the perfect match... With the growing economy and the University of Saskatchewan in the area, we're confident we'll find quality applicants to fill our 300+ call center positions and look forward to Maritz Research becoming part of the Saskatoon community.' The company has four other North American survey centers.

Maritz Research is a unit of Maritz Inc., which has key offices in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, and Spain. Maritz Research is on the web at www.maritzresearch.com .
