ForeSee Buys Usability Expert Red Spade

September 14 2007

Online customer satisfaction specialist ForeSee Results has acquired usability consulting firm Red Spade, to improve its ability to offer actionable web site user satisfaction analysis.

ForeSee will use Red Spade's proprietary auditing process to offer clients a diagnosis of web site visitor concerns and a detailed prescription for what changes and enhancements are needed to make improvements. 'This acquisition made perfect sense as part of our aggressive strategy to meet the needs of clients that require more specific direction on where to concentrate their online investment and improvement efforts,' explained Foresee Results President and CEO Larry Freed.

Using the scientific methodology of the University of Michigan's American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), ForeSee Results quantifies the elements that drive customer satisfaction on the web and predict future behaviours such as purchases, return visits, and referrals. Red Spade Principal and Co-Founder Kay Min and Partner Jennifer Bailey said that the partnership between the firms is an instinctive one because of the way in which ACSI can help clients focus on usability improvement efforts.

The firms are online at www.ForeSeeResults.com and www.redspade.com.
