New Social Media Analysis Platform

US blog and social network tracker Visible Technologies and social media marketing firm M80 have expanded their year-long partnership with the launch of a suite of tools to support online word-of-mouth and conversation marketing campaigns.

Their new initiative - known as WORD! - combines Visible Technology's TruCast social media analysis and engagement platform with M80's social media marketing expertise. This enables the pair to examine content from more than 100 million blogs, forums, message boards and media-sharing sites. The partners say this enables them to identify relevant conversations about client brands; uncover conversation trends and news drivers, along with the underlying sentiment; and evaluate the most relevant authors, sites and subjects within online discussions. The resulting strategic recommendations help with relationship-building and increasing overall awareness.

'Our partnership with Visible Technologies and the joint WORD! offerings bring together the best of our services to address the increasing needs of clients who want to successfully utilize the social media channel,' explained Todd Steinman, COO of M80.

Based in Seattle, Visible Technologies has offices in New York, Boston, and Washington, DC. In the summer, the firm joined with WPP digital marketing agency Beyond Interaction to provide new ways for the latter's clients to understand, measure and participate in social media.
