Service Industry Expert Joins Aberdeen Group

In the US, value chain insight specialist Aberdeen Group has appointed William Pollock as Vice President - Principal Analyst and Group Leader for its Strategic Service Management research practice.

William PollockPollock joins with more than 30 years' market research and strategic planning experience. For the past 15 years, he served as President of services consulting firm Strategies For Growth. Prior to this, he was VP - Business Development at a TQM/ISO 9000 consulting firm, and Managing Analyst, Services Industry for the Datapro Information Services division of Gartner. He received his BA and MBA Marketing degrees from Temple University and has completed graduate-level work in market research at the University of Pennsylvania.

During his career, Pollock has gained extensive experience in assisting clients with understanding the key needs, trends and patterns of the service industry, and utilizing that knowledge to improve their business. In his new role, he will focus on providing value to customers through the development and management of fact-based research and analysis, and his practice's research offerings will concentrate on all aspects impacting the service sector.
