Visible Technologies Reshuffles Leadership

US social media analytics firm Visible Technologies has appointed Dan Vetras as its new CEO, and moved current incumbent Adam Selig to the new role of Divisional President of Strategic Alliances, focussing on distribution channels and key partners.

Vetras takes up the post with more than 25 years' experience in technology, sales management, business development and M&A activity. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of CIM solutions firm Talisma. Prior to this, he was President and CEO at Captura Software, where he directed the company's strategies and operations and played a key role in its acquisition by Concur Technologies. Before this, he served as VP of Sales at IntraNetics, and held management positions at IBM, Lotus and Digital Equipment.

'The next stage of Visible Technologies' growth will be about leveraging momentum, expanding social technologies and increasing market share with clients and partners,' explained Board member Michelle Goldberg. 'Dan has the perfect combination of industry vision and experience to help drive the company into this new era.'

In 2007, the firm received $12m in investment funding from marcoms giant WPP and venture capital company Ignition Partners. Since this time, it has partnered with WPP marketing agency Beyond Interaction to provide new ways for the latter's clients to understand, measure and participate in social media.
