Maasberg Replaces Rivera as Lyris CEO

US-based online market solution provider Lyris has appointed web analytics specialist Wolfgang Maasberg as President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Luis Rivera who will continue to serve on the company's Board of Directors.

Lyris's flagship offering, Lyris HQ, is an all-in-one online marketing solution that combines e-mail marketing with search, social and mobile channels, enhanced by embedded deliverability and web analytics.

Maasberg joins from Adobe's web analytics firm Omniture, where he served as VP Sales, Americas. Prior to this, he held sales leadership positions at IBM-owned web analytics company Coremetrics. He began his career at Dell and later joined FIT Technologies as VP of Sales.

The company recently opened two offices in Australia, funded by the sale of $6m of stock to two existing shareholders in April.
