FlexMR Launches Survey Skills Training Programme

September 8 2021

British-based tech-led insight agency FlexMR has launched a survey skills training programme, to provide researchers with the guidance and support needed to conduct basic survey research on their own.

Paul HudsonHeadquartered in the Lake District, with additional offices in the US and Germany, FlexMR offers a fully integrated qual and quant online and mobile research platform, as well as a multi-language software product supported by its insight professionals. The firm's InsightHub platform brings together its range of existing research tools and services.

Delivered through the InsightHub and building on the company's Video Close Connection Programme, the new 'Survey Close Connection Programme' delivers a training course and post-training support across three stages based on educating and supporting stakeholders to better connect with customers. At the outset of the programme, FlexMR will work with insight teams to identify key stakeholders and put together a draft training timeline; training is then delivered through two group masterclass-style workshops and individual check-ins with stakeholders. Once the initial training period has concluded, the firm will aim to conduct platform audits with research teams every five to six months, and graduates of the programme will be provided with access to the firm's SurveyMR tool, which has recently been redesigned to enable survey programming through a flowchart-based interface.

CEO Paul Hudson (pictured) comments: 'Typically, there has been a conflict between the desire for researchers to retain quality control and stakeholders to gain increasingly fast access to insight. We believe that issue is exacerbated by a lack of robust skill training that can bridge the gap, supported by ongoing reviews and targeted engagements. Our Survey Close Connection Programme has been designed in consultation with our clients - finely balancing the need to democratise access, with responsible systems of control.'
