New Leader for Scarborough Division

Scarborough Research has hired Kathy Beitler to lead client services for its newspaper custom research division.

The division's services include audience aggregation, advertiser satisfaction studies, subscriber retention and stop surveys, news audience segmentation studies, product development and strategic branding studies. As Account Director, Custom Research, Beitler will report to Gary Meo, the firm's Senior VP of Print and Internet Services, and work VP of Custom Research Ed Batson.

In her 25-year career she has worked for two of the newspaper industry's most significant custom research suppliers, as MD for three years of Belden Associates, and MR Manager and later Director of Urban & Associates. She worked previously as Research Manager for the Dispatch Printing Company and as an MR Analyst for the Leo Burnett Company in Chicago.
