Rapid Growth for [x+1]

August 8 2008

Predictive marketing agency [x+1] has appointed three senior directors from Synovate company Marketing Management Analytics (MMA): Trey Jackson as Director of Technology, Todd Lipton as Director of Analytics, and Mark Williams as Director of Database Engineering.

Jackson served as MMA's Director of Vista Client Operations, prior to which, he was Senior Consultant at Bearing Point and Arthur Anderson.

Before joining, Lipton worked as Associate Director in the Product Development group of MMA. He was previously Associate Director in the Database Marketing group of Modem Media (now Publicis Modem).

Williams was Manager, Databases and Database Consulting at MMA. Prior to that, he was the Manager of Database Services for Centerport.

The new positions were created to help drive [x+1]'s 'aggressive new product agenda' while also supporting its growing customer base, according to Chairman and CEO John Nardone.

'We needed to build a team that could provide world-class service to our new and existing customers, while also pursuing our product and technology goals,' explained Nardone. 'With these additions to the team, we have the human capital and knowledge assets in place that will enable us to better address these dual pursuits.'

In addition, the firm has appointed:

  • George Medina, Director, Engineering
  • Taylor Williams, Senior Optimization Analyst
  • Joseph Meehan, Account Director
  • Brian Yarnell, Senior Product Manager
  • Nate Sutton, Technical Architect
  • John Slocum, Software Engineer
  • Terence Scroope, Operations Analyst
  • James Baker, Analyst
  • Travis Lull, User Interface Specialist.
Since it was founded in 1999, [x+1] has developed statistical modeling technology to control traditional direct marketing techniques online.
